Vince enjoyed the peace of the moment. He knew it wouldn't last. Any moment his brother would arrive and they'd be off gallivanting to his awards show. This was the last thing he wanted but what he knew he ultimately had to do. Life throws you one to many curve balls, he decided.
It was long, maybe hours later when an aid came and got him. The time had come. Vince got up and followed her out.
