Toque showed up outside Vaan's door a week later looking sour faced. Clearly he had more pressing matters but agreed to out of obligation.
Vince looked him over and nodded. Toque clambered down. Together they carried out the plants wordlessly.
From the roof Sarganno watched them. He had nearly completed his duties as well.
